The fabulous Dara

My fellow Earth Angel artist and friend Dara DiMagno is such a fabulous artist and wonderfully sweet and funny gal. I am so excited to hear that she will be featured in an upcoming issue of Where Women Create. It is a must need magazine for every creative person out there and Dara's amazing studio is a great addition to it!

As some of you know, I run a small daycare in my home. Yesterday was boy's day out and we took a trip to our local zoo. The weather was perfect and much fun was had by all!! Here are the guys.... Chase who will be 3 next week

Web Show!

Festival fun

On Sat. my hubby, son and I went to the Old Canal Days festival in Canal Fulton. We played some games (spent a large sum of money to win a little stuffed prize!) Watched the crowds ride the rides

Feasted on stromboli

And finished the day with some wonderful, greasy, salty fries!

Take a hike

One of my son's and mine favorite activities is hiking on the many trails of the metro park system. Lace up your sneakers and join us for a little 1.6 mile hike we just took. First we start off in a heavily wooded area, lots of cooling shade and the sound of birds chirping and little critters scurrying about.

Stop and take a break by the pond

Head off into the fields of cattails

Don't step on the dragonfly!

Listen to the bullfrogs croak near the marsh

Finish up back in the woods, say goodbye to the little birds til next time.

Antiquing finds

My mom, son and I went out this weekend and did some serious antiquing so that I can get ready for the Country Living Show in Sept. Here are some of the wonderful items I found to create with! This box of hardware has the most beautiful shade or robin's egg blue paint on it!!
