My new friend

Sorry I have been away from blogland for a while, but I caught that nasty flu bug that is going around and it has knocked me for a loop! After a couple of weeks I am now starting to feel almost back to normal (or as close to normal as I will ever be...lol..)

While recuperating I won my very first giveaway ever! Tina at tinybear sent me this adorable little bear named Miss Libbit. I cannot believe my luck that I won this amazingly sweet little bear. She definitely brightened my day and I just want to thank Tina for letting her come and live with me. She is such a talented artist and I am so honored to have a piece of her work in my home. Thank you so very much Tina!! Just look at this sweet face.........
Well, I thought she looked a little lonely so I dressed her up with a little bow pin and set her in a little tart tin and put her next to my favorite dolly so that she will have a friend to talk to! I hear them chatting away all the time!!

Glad you are feeling better. I seem to be holding on to a bit of my cold and can't seem to shake it this year. What a sweet little bear and doll you have paired together. Sea Witch

This is adorable! :)

I just came across your blog and I'm enjoying it. I hope you're feeling entirely better now! I have had the flu as well for 2 weeks and am finally today, feeling more like myself. But this COUGH - it goes on and on and on.... bugging me through the night. Today, it is finally easing up, so hopefully I too am on the mend.

Hope you have a lovely November. ♥
