Thank goodness the nice weather has finally arrived and I have been able to get out to some flea markets!!! Here are a few creations I have made with my marketing finds!!!

Packing up and heading to Saratoga Springs!

I have been busy lately creating and packing up the new pieces that I am taking to the Earth Angels Spring Fling event that will be held this weekend in Saratoga Springs, NY at Schuyler Pond Home and Garden. If you are in the area please stop by on Sat or Sun to meet all of the amazingly talented Earth Angel artists. I hope to see you there!!

Back to playing with rusty junk!

Seems like it has been a while since I have been able to create some new work but with the long winter this year, I just was not able to get out and do some junkin and pickin to find goodies to play and create with! Now I just need all the rain to stop so I can get out to the flea markets and garage sales to stock up on supplies so that I can get ready for the next Earth Angels show in Sarasota Springs, NY in May. I think I need to move somewhere that has sunny skies all year round!!

Luckily I was able to find some interesting pieces to work with at the antique stores to keep the creative juices flowing.

I cannot believe Easter is here already. I hope that you all will have a wonderful Easter holiday, may it be a day filled with love, family and happiness.

Playing.....

in the jewelry box again!!! It has been a while since I have made some necklaces and I had a ball making these 5. I just love the process of taking a bunch of jewelry apart and then putting the pieces back together in different combinations. So much fun and it makes me feel like a kid again dressing up with my great-grandma's jewelry.

Waiting for Spring

I am anxiously awaiting the Spring weather so that I can get back to rooting around at flea markets and garage sales to find all those rusty, worn out goodies to create with! We have had a horrible winter and I am ready to get out into the sunshine and get to pickin. I am dipping into my precious reserves to create with but I am still creating away!

This little flower has put me into the Spring mood and I cannot wait to see the real things blossoming.

The colors in the wood plinth made me also think of Spring with the yellow, purble, blue and green peeking through.

This large change purse was just begging for a chain and a pretty Spring flower to be attached, along with some lace and bling of course!

This piece would not photograph well for me but I hope you can get an idea of what it is like. I had an old coffee tin that made the perfect little home for this sweet pair of children and I attached it to a metal base with fabric wrapped wires entwined. I think that lace and little butterfly added a touch of Spring.

So please Mother Nature can you stop the snow, the rains and the flooding we have been beseiged with and bring us a little Spring weather here in Northeast Ohio, pretty please???
