photo. I have had many old photos cross my path these past few years, but this one has to be my all time fav. I am not sure if it is a boy or a girl, I go back and forth all the time. What I love the most is the little downturned mouth and the eyes.
Was this little one sad, bored, not feeling well or just tired of the long process of getting their photo taken? I wonder about this all the time and my answer changes depending on the mood I am in.
For some reason this little one just speaks to my heart and I will treasure this photo always.
I can see why she is your favorite. So soulful. It's a wonderful CDV. I think she is a girl because her hair is parted down the middle and not to the side as was the style for boys. I love the mysteries our photos hold:) Love, Jamie
ReplyDeleteOh, woe is me she seems to be saying (I vote for girl too). What a great photo, I wonder if the photographer even tried to make her smile :).
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing her.....

What a beautiful face! There is a story she holds in those eyes. I do wish we could talk to her and see what her life was.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing her.

ReplyDeleteHi, I just found your blog and I too agree that it is probably a little girl. A mixture of sadness and madness?

This picture is really soulful. They sure tell stories when we stop and look! I know you "get" that-as your blog name and your beautiful art show it!
