frustration leads to...

Most of the time I can look through my piles of "junk", see a piece and almost immediately see in my mind exactly what I want to create with it. That was not the case with the latest creation I just finished.

I had found this great old, rusty metal lamp holder and was so excited to use it, however my excitement turned into frustration when I could not figure out how best to use it. One week later and after alot of tinkering and changes I think I am finally happy with it!

This is one of my all time favorite poems and I love using it whenever I can.

I hope these 2 little angels are happy in their new "home"!

  6. Cheryl, it may have taken a week to get to the finished piece, but for one who is admiring it - a week doesn't seem like a long time at all!!!

I go through phases too where I LOVE something but it sits silently. Not a peep. Not a sound. No picture or glimpse. And months later, some of them still sit. A week of tinkering with an end result like yours would be pretty impressive by my standards ;) Great job!!!! Beautiful creation!!
